The story of Mother’s Hands is a story of resilience, love, and the quiet strength passed down through generations.
It all began with my mother — a true warrior who faced cancer and a failed hip surgery that left her barely able to walk. “But I still have my hands, don’t I?” she says with a proud smile. And with those hands, she continues to create beauty.
Together with my 89-year-old grandmother and myself, we knit, crochet, and craft unique, heartwarming pieces that carry a part of our story in every stitch. Thanks to the internet and platforms like Etsy, my mother and grandmother — both women with disabilities — now share their talent with the world.
Every item in this shop is a labor of love, created slowly and intentionally by women who know the power of handmade warmth. If you have a special idea or request, we’d love to bring it to life — with our hands, our hearts, and our heritage.
Welcome to Mother’s Hands.
